THE CONFERENCE

Welcome 

We are greatly pleased for the significant success of International Tourism Conference 2006 realized on 20-26 November 2006 in Alanya. The conference has been organized to provide an international platform among academicians, educators, industry practitioners in tourism industry to exchange recent developments and future expectations.

 

The conference has been established in cooperation with The Southern Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov in Shimkent-Kazakhstan, Ablai Khan University in Almaty-Kazakhstan and Akdeniz University Alanya Faculty of Business in Alanya-Turkey.

 

We have invited the presidents and/or vice-presidents of institutions about tourism industry as speakers to the panel titled as “The General Evaluation of World and Turkish Tourism” that has been executed at the beginning of the conference.  Around 500 participators have been involved in the opening ceremony and the panel.

In respect of the program of our conference, besides the specialist academicians of tourism in Turkey, academicians having international reputation on tourism have been invited as keynote speakers to the conference.

 

Around 250 world-wide delegates have participated the conference from 38 countries and 106 different institutions. 120 presentations have been performed during 3 days taking part in the conference progress.

 

We are very grateful to have welcomed industry professional, academicians and students in Alanya in November.
