INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE

The staff of the International Relations Office would like to send greetings to our friends around the world, and an especially warm welcome to anyone visiting the English pages of the website for the first time. We hope you will find everything you need to know about Akdeniz University here, as we try to give as wide a range of background and practical information as possible.

Our office is responsible for the organisation of all aspects of the EU education and youth programmes, both for our own students and staff, and those coming from overseas. We help to coordinate all the international academic activities of our university, a young, vigorous and expanding institution with an international outlook, and we are particularly keen to establish relations with like-minded academic centres, and individuals with an interest in cooperative projects, and long term collaboration in areas of mutual benefit. We welcome enquiries, which will always receive our prompt and enthusiastic attention.

Our office is also the first point of contact for overseas guests at Akdeniz University. Our team speaks excellent English, and can communicate in a variety of languages. They are ready to help sort out all the practical problems which can arise from visiting, or living and studying in a strange city in a foreign country. Whether your questions are about visas or permits, finding a place to live or bureaucracy, or the ordinary problems of everyday life, you will always find a friendly face and a sympathetic ear on the sixth floor of the main administration building, the Rectorate.

In particular we wish to offer our good wishes, our support, and our practical knowledge to the European students who have chosen to study at Akdeniz University under the Erasmus programme, and to assure them that we will do everything that we can to provide a period of study in Antalya which is rich in educational and cultural experiences, and as happy and free of worry as possible.
