Uludağ Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesinden 1991 yılında mezun olan Yard.Doç.Dr. Özlem ÖZMEN, aynı yıl Patoloji Anabilim Dalı’nda doktora eğitimine başladı.  Doktora çalışmasını 1997 yılında tamamladıktan sonra 1998 yılda Akdeniz Üniversitesi Burdur Veteriner Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalı’na atandı. Bu tarihten itibaren Fakültemizde görev yapan Yard.Doç.Dr. Özlem ÖZMEN 2002 yılında 2 ay süre ile Hollanda Utrecht Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesinde "Egzotik Hayvan Hastalıkları ve Patolojisi” konusunda eğitim aldı.

 

            Çok sayıda Ulusal ve Uluslararası kongre ve toplantılarda bilimsel tebliğler veren Yard.Doç.Dr. Özlem ÖZMEN’in Ulusal ve Uluslararası dergilerde basılı 31 yayını bulunmaktadır. Görev aldığı ve tamamladığı 7 projenin 2 sinde yürütücülük yapmıştır. İngilizce bilmektedir.
